Stock Orders - Processing Stock Orders

This page details how to process an existing stock order and the actions and options available to users.

Stock orders are accessed from the stock order listings page.


Picking, Packing and Despatching the order

  • Access the order from the order listings page

 

  • Click the Pending Deliveries tab

  • The Pending Deliveries tab has several different options

    • Halt Button: The halt button will place the stock order on hold. The order must be released before it can progress. To release the order, click the release button which will be in place instead of the halt button

    • Show Pick List: This option will show the user a PDF of all the items in that stock order which need to be despatched

    • Show delivery note: This option will show the user the delivery note for that stock order

  • To mark the order as ‘Packing’ tick the ‘Packing in progress’ tick box

  • A pop up box will appear showing you a copy of the confirmation email which will be sent to the customer. You can make amends to this email using this pop up box if there is anything you wish to edit before sending the email. Click send confirmation and process to continue

  • Once the order is ready to despatch access the stock order again and click the Pending Deliveries tab. Click the ‘despatched’ tick box. This will present the user with several fields to complete. The user can select a carrier and a service (the services shown will be based on the carrier the user has selected) and a reference (tracking) number. The user can also enter the Cost, Markup and Sale price of the stock order at this point.

 

  • Click save to proceed and you will be prompted to send the confirmation email and the order will be flagged as despatched.
