Service Provider sends Quote to Customer

Having received quotes from suppliers, the Service Provider analyses the offers and sends the best quote to the Customer.


  1. In Projects > All Projects, find the project.
    It will have the status 'Responses Received' and the Next Action 'Send Quote'.
  2. Click the Send Quote button.
    The Quote page will appear showing the Project Parts, Email and PDF Message fields.



  3. In the Parts section, select each Project Part you want a quote for by selecting the Part's checkbox

  4. In the Email section, customise the email content as required.

  5. In the PDF Message section, enter a PDF message if required.
    The PDF contains all information needed by the Supplier to provide a quote, such as the product specification and quantity. 
    The PDF Message box can be used to communicate any additional information to the Supplier. It will appear in a separate section in the PDF.

  6. Click the Preview button to check the PDF before sending.
    If necessary, you can modify the email and PDF message as required, until you're happy with it.

  7. Click the Send button to send the email and PDF to the Customer.


Cancelling

If you decide, for whatever reason, that you don't want to send the quote, you can click the Cancel button. This will return you to the Projects page.
