Customer raises Quote Request to Service Provider

When a Customer needs a product that is not included in the Catalogue they can create a Quote Request to their Service Provider. The Service Provider will then source the lowest quote for the product from their suppliers.


  1. Log in to the Claritum Procurement System.



  2. Open the Catalogue from the menu bar:



  3. Select an item from the Catalogue menu that is eligible for Quote Request (i.e. not a predefined product or rate card).

  4. Fill in all the required product detail fields, such as quantity, size, colour, and packing instructions.

  5. Select the Get a Quote button.
    The Quote Request will be added to your New quotes list.

  6. To send all Quote Requests in your New quotes list to your Service Provider, select the Send Quote Requests button.

Result
The Quote Request is logged in MyQuotes > Sent quotes with pending status (unless the system administrator configured it otherwise).

Your Service Provider will source the best value quotes from its suppliers and send them to you for evaluation.
