When a Customer needs a product that is not included in the Catalogue they can create a Quote Request to their Service Provider. The Service Provider will then source the lowest quote for the product from their suppliers.
- Log in to the Claritum Procurement System.
- Open the Catalogue from the menu bar:
- Select an item from the Catalogue menu that is eligible for Quote Request (i.e. not a predefined product or rate card).
- Fill in all the required product detail fields, such as quantity, size, colour, and packing instructions.
- Select the Get a Quote button.
The Quote Request will be added to your New quotes list. - To send all Quote Requests in your New quotes list to your Service Provider, select the Send Quote Requests button.
Result
The Quote Request is logged in MyQuotes > Sent quotes with pending status.
Your Service Provider will source the best value quotes from its suppliers and send them to you for evaluation.
