This document outlines the areas of system usage that would be considered 'excessive' (i.e. consumption of resources beyond limits regarded as acceptable) and may be subject to either additional charge or constraints being applied.
If your requirements are beyond these limits then please contact Claritum Customer Services to discuss in more detail.
Multiple logins with same administrator account
We reserve the right to prevent multiple users logging in with the same administrator account.
Multiple customers and suppliers can log in using the same account, but we recommend they use separate accounts for auditing purposes.
File uploads
File uploads are limited to 80M per file. There is no limit on the total number of attachments.
We reserve the right to remove any attachment found containing malicious code without notice.
Data feed
Reporting tables are refreshed nightly. Given the volume of data that must be transfered we recommend users only sync data to their reporting tools once a day.
Where we allow direct ODBC access to the data feed tables, user queries taking longer than 10 seconds to complete may be terminated.
3rd party integrations
If an 3rd party system that we have been asked to integrate with is unavailable or returning errors for an extended period (more than 4 hours) we may temporarily disable the integration to avoid excessive error messages and logging. We always attempt to contact the organisation responsible for the system before doing so.
Malicious use
Any user found deliberately attempting to infiltrate the system or compromise performance (ie, Denial of Service) will be blocked. In severe cases this may stop other users from the same location accessing the system, but we will work with the affected client and law enforcement to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
Pageflex
Pageflex Server Storage Limit
The standard Pageflex server deployment includes 5GB of storage. This is available for:
Template documents
Pending orders
Final artwork
Additional storage may be purchased in 5GB increments. Please contact Claritum for pricing.
Pageflex Server Data Transfer Limit
The standard Pageflex server deployment includes 5GB of data transfer per month.
This is available for:
Uploading template documents to the Pageflex server
Downloading final artwork from the Pageflex server
All other data transfers in/out of the Pageflex server
Additional data transfer allowance may be purchased in 5GB increments. Please contact Claritum for pricing.
Pageflex Server Order Volumes and Frequency
The standard Pageflex server deployment allows for 200 orders per month.
An ‘order’ is defined as a confirmed Pageflex Template order via the Customer Catalogue (i.e. not a customisation simply placed in the shopping basket).
Claritum Shopping Basket Lifetime
Pageflex Template items held in the Customer Catalogue’s shopping basket have a standard maximum lifetime of 1 month.
If the user customises a Pageflex template and places it in their shopping basket but does not place an order for it then after 1 month it will be automatically removed from their shopping basket and the corresponding customized document on the Pageflex server deleted.
If a longer lifetime is required for a particular customer then this can be configured via the ‘Pageflex’ configuration settings and the customer details but it should be noted that this may result in Storage Limits being exceeded.
Claritum Job Bag Artwork Lifetime
Once a Pageflex Template is ordered via the Customer Catalogue the final press-ready artwork is created on the Pageflex Server and is made available via the Claritum System’s Project.
These artwork files will be automatically removed from the Pageflex Server (and therefore the Job Bag) after 2 weeks.
If the artwork must be retained beyond this then the service provider (or supplier) must manually secure their own copy of the file(s) by downloading from the Project page or from the Pageflex server FTP site directly.
If a longer lifetime is required for a particular customer then this can be configured via the ‘Pageflex’ configuration settings and the Customer details but it should be noted that this may result in Storage Limits being exceeded.
