Using Multiple Addresses

Claritum allows customers to place orders with multiple delivery addresses. Customers can allocate different quantities to different delivery addresses.

Enabling multiple addresses functionality

Before customers can add multiple addresses to their orders an administrator will need to enable this functionality

  • See ‘configuration > portals’

 

  • Edit a portal, customers of this portal will be able to use multiple addresses

 

  • Enable ‘Allow editing delivery address’ and ‘Show Deliveries tab’

 

  • Click save

Customer places order with multiple address

The customer can add delivery addresses to their orders once they have added their item to the basket

  • The customer clicks ‘add to basket’

  • While in the basket the customer clicks the ‘deliveries tab’

 

  • The customer clicks ‘add address’

  • The customer can select an address or search for an address if it is not displayed

 

  • The customer selects an address and this is added to the order

  • The customer can also allocate different amounts of stock to different delivery addresses

 

  • The customer checks out

  • The customer is shown the checkout which displays both addresses

 

  • The customer clicks place order and the order is confirmed

 

  • The multiple addresses are shown to admins on the ‘deliveries’ tab
